Many times you need to make adjustments or add items to a bid but you want to keep the original bid for future reference. give the new bid the same bid code appended with a number or letter.

If you do repeat business for the same customer or contractor (if you are a subcontractor) this will eliminate re-entering their data in the "Bid Information" form.
